I have never seen the point in stripping down a daily driver to run faster times, Its just false numbers, I dont know too many people that drive around with no interior everyday just so they can be race ready

My trucks weighs 7300lbs and thats race weight

Think they are afraid of Tommy and what he will post. Tommy shows no love at all when you don't keep your word. Tommy will show love if your product works. He is a good test person and tells it like it is.

Hey look - orange names, maybe that will stop half problems.

FUNNY... I'm from KINSTON!!! Raced there many times... Know lots of folks there... Nobody I know has ever heard of or seen you!!!!

VERY INTERESTING!!!!

We did say it was our first time there but talk to people that were there last thursday for the test and tune night, we had a lot of people come up and talk to us so we met alot of good guys, feel bad for the guy that wrecked his Opel - glad he came out OK though. I'm pretty sure just about anybody that was there would remember us or you can let us know when you'll be there and we'll come run if we can make it. Saw one door car (I think it was the Opel) run a 4.6 or 4.3 in the 1/8th @ 196mph - that was amazing.

I think DirtyMax would be a good candidate for this test. I know he has done well on the Neens tune, has run McRat's tune, and has made his own tunes with a few tips and tricks from me and lots of his own time. As far as I know he has no problem with any of us, isn't close to or friends with any of us and would have no ulterior motives in this. He can load the Neens tune, his own tune, and then swap in the ECM with our tune back to back on the same day at the track and see how each does on a couple passes. If that doesn't work out then we can take up Tommy on his offer.

Travis I was just razzing you, but I actually only put the seats in if people need to sit in them or I am going to sled pull. I get pulled over too much to race on the street anyway though. When I do anything with my truck I set it up for what I'm doing. Racing I shed a few pounds and throw either the BFGs or the cheaters on it and when I sled pull I add weight and throw on the MTs.

This thread is getting good. Why don't you guys try backing your numbers up at a track that isn't a few hundered feet above sea level. Also does this track have the maximum down hill grade allowed by NHRA? I know there is a 1/4 mile track here in eastern Iowa, Earlville, that has this. Your rwhp numbers arent anymore than other people have hit so your trucks are either really light or the track is fast. I have congratulated you guys on your times but your claims are starting to go over board. The one thing I'll give you credit for is the ability to view the logs and make changes to better the tune on your trucks.

Were in this post did Justin offer his truck up for testing, Some of the tunes in his truck were built off of some of my tunes that I have ran in mine.

I don't see him on here much but it is one LBZ with a built trans, lift pump, shimmed or race valve, and exhaust that I could think of that doesn't closely associate with anyone in this thread. I was just trying to think of someone that would be unbiased and up for it.

:) That is what I would prefer to see,I Dont doubt your numbers at all I was more interested in seeing what it works like on other trucks in other parts of the country.

Congrats to both of you on the upcoming additions to your families.

About dang time you guys did the right thing.

As for the "seats coming out" argument...if it takes all of 15 minutes to take them out at the track, then they come out. Part of going fast is lighter weight....so its not "cheating". If it was, then all the Rcab and Xcab trucks out there would have to ADD weight to make things "fair", dont you think?

why not have a LBZ and a LMM run tunes? more ppl you get doing it the more the word gets out. can only help the shop. more prats of the country and different tracks also. just my 2 cents.

its fun reading this thread.

and for taking out seats and spar tires none of them ever have a spare since they had to use mine the other day. and it doesnt take them very long to remove the seats, there is about 4 to 6 of us some times to help everyone does what needs to get done. from losing weight to getting beer.

Are you implying that I would be biased?:D

Dustin, I'm just busting your juevos...You guys have some fast trucks, that cannot be argued...Hopefully this will come to reality, it'll be interesting...

Does that mean hanging weight when you sled pull creates "false numbers" too?

Travis is not selling anything, just stating what he saw. The boys have run a very fast time on a lightened truck. Their claims are the fastest tune out there. Need to put it into a completely nuetral truck that everyone respects as being honest and see. That's all.
