Bummer I missed this thread back when it was original, because I had a much lower priced alternative! You can just use an ISSPRO pressure sensor, R89141 (typical internet price about $67), which is the same scale as the sensor mentioned in this thread. Needless to say I'll be using one on my new race truck I am building!

Do you need to rescale your map voltage, and will you need to cut and splice wires?

From reading this thread it appears that you need to rescale. As far as the harness goes, does the factory MAP sensor connector look like this?

Holy Necropost!@ :D

IIRC, it worked well with the Honeywell, which is an industrial-quality sensor with a long lead. I found sensors that mounted to PC Boards as cheap as $11 but they would be a lot of work to incorporate for a single truck.

I will have to research this again. I forgot all about it.

Iirc it's more rectangle? On a lb7 anyway
It's a 3 wire for sure though..... Could you also provide the male end of that sensor so we can just wire it to the harness part

That way I could use it for boost . Drive press and lift pump and just obviously log one at a time but it would be nice

I've used the oil press sensor from a 03 to do this but it doesn't calibrate very well so I don't trust it

I've also got pos nexus gauges that I've paid way to much for and they work when they feel like:mad:

Just once I would like to know some real data

The isspro unit uses the same connector as the high side a/c switch.

Michael do you have a sensor scaling for that and is it the same sensor as the one for the ev2 100 psi boost gauge?

Yes, the male end is just the same thing as a boost pressure wire harness for EV2, P/N R72014.

The isspro unit uses the same connector as the high side a/c switch.

Yes, it is the same sensor used on all EV2 pressure gauges up to 100 psi. The scaling is 0.5 volts = 0 psi, 4.5 volts = 100 psi, linear in between.

Think i could wire the ecm feed into my Isspro sensor that is also being used for my boost gauge? Both off the same sensor at the same time?

Do you know if these are currently in the new trucks or just a rumor? If so would they read 50 psi boost, or does that 50 psi include atmospheric pressure cause my map sensor right now says 37 WOT
For some reason, the MAP PID stops at 37, but if you log the BOOST2 PID, it will go up to about 53 psia.

I ordered 2 of these sensors today.....Called Arron at CT Performance

He said that they had 0-120psi is that correct? Figured i could use them as a DP gauge also and just unplug from boost on every second run.

It would be nice if ISSIPRO made a 0-300 psi IMO just throwing it out there:D

I am bringing this thread to the top because I want to thank all involved here. I wish I had reread this sooner, since I will now be logging full boost and DP using my isspro sensors! :thumb:
