If anyone else has this issue clean your passenger side fuel rail. Even running 2 micron filters there was a fair bit of crap in there. I do have almost 200k so hopefully I'm good for another 190k.
I left my truck idling with the ac running. I noticed after a while it sounded like it was running with too much rail pressure. My cts showed the actual rail pressure at zero and getting the P0192. I figured the sensor went bad so I replaced it. No change. Checked the wiring for shorts and all...
So I spent all weekend swapping the cp3 on my brothers truck because it wouldn't start hot, or hold rail pressure. It's an early 2007 LBZ shimmed fprv and airdog 150. It now starts when hot or cold but it still won't hold rail pressure. One log showed commanded at 23k and actual at 7700. It...
Fuels covered my trans oil pan and crossmembers to give an idea of how much it leaks, and leaves probably a basket ball sized puddle overnight.
Sounds like we have the same thing going on. I'll look around on mine tonight and see what I can come up with.
Does an injection pump slowly wear out? Or is it one of those "it either works or it doesn't"? I have checked for leaks in the fuel lines, to which I couldn't find any. I am leaning more toward the FPRV or Injection Pump. The truck also has a slight knock and has trouble starting when hot...
We had the same thing hapen last year. Pump on the airdog was running but not moving fuel. If I hit the schrader valve next to the alternator while the airdog is running, it sprays fuel over the core support.
This is my brothers truck, but it has all the same equipment on it as my signature. It has 114K miles on it. We have checked the airdog and it is definatly moving fuel.
Forgot to mention, the check engine light usually turns on in third gear. It isn't 2k rpm limp either as I can still get the rpm's over 2k, the truck just doesn't seam to react.
Please Help! Truck loses power and throws the Low Rail Pressure Code around 2000 rpm's. Truck runs great under 2000 rpm's. I gain fuel pressure all the way up to 12k psi, but as the rpm's get higher and the commanded pressure increases the fuel pressure drops drammatically to 7k when...
