After gelling up and killing the batteries 2 years ago, I went with dual Odyssey batteries. Spendy, around $500 i think, but absolutely no issues since then cranking over when it's -35 outside.

    Adjusting C3, C4 clearances?

I have no problem with ordering new clutches, but what happens if the new clutches are the same spec as the ones I have now? I would be out several hundred and in the same place I am now.

    Adjusting C3, C4 clearances?

Long story short, i limped the trans last year, p0735. Never happened again, but trans would feel like a flare in 5th. It didn't seem to happen if in tow/haul mode. I would let off before limping the trans again. Anyway, I have time this winter, pulled the trans and took a few measurements...

    Desired rail pressure changing/limiting itself?

You sir are correct-probably:D. I scanned with the insight, had p0181. Cleared it, and the pressure was normal again! It did trip again on the way home, so i need to research this more. But thanks a ton!!! This was causing me quite a bit of stress, I am just happy to make some progress!

    Desired rail pressure changing/limiting itself?

Ok, will check tonight after work. I did get that code earlier, but I usually do when I plug the truck in when it's warmer out. Will update later

    Desired rail pressure changing/limiting itself?

Hmm not sure. The switch is in pos 1 for hottest tune, 5 for stock. Switching between the tunes results in the same 10.1k

    Desired rail pressure changing/limiting itself?

I have an issue where on my dsp5 I am getting 27k desired on the hottest tune(normal). Then, the desired will change to 10.1k from just off idle to full throttle. It does not go to 27k unless I do a complete reflash, which I have done 3 times in a week. Any ideas on how the desired can limit...

Need help diagnosing whine sound Vid

Sanded both mating surfaces with 36 grit (give sealant something to hold to) and used permatex "Right stuff" or great stuff, cant remember which. Rec by Trent, so should work better than ultra copper. Went for a ride after letting the stuff dry for 8 hrs, and it sounds normal!! Thanks for all...

Need help diagnosing whine sound Vid

Thanks Diesel Technology Source, you were a big help! Just went out and did a 4wd boost/brake lock. The whine comes on at 17-18 psi. Will wait till tomorrow for a friend/daylight to look for the leaking culprit. Hopefully this takes care of the issue!!!

    Leaky trans. HELP NEEDED

Any thoughts if the two shaft seal rings could be causing this? I did replace the old ones with new ones from the rebuild kit in August. Also, is there a way for some sort of pressure to build up and blow by the front seal?

    Leaky trans. HELP NEEDED

I didn't notice any spray around the inside, like if the converter had a crack, and in the pic the backside was clean too. The only thing I did differently was install the front seal slightly below flush. I figured as it was slightly recessed the first time(factory installed) I removed it...
