Desired rail pressure changing/limiting itself?

I have an issue where on my dsp5 I am getting 27k desired on the hottest tune(normal). Then, the desired will change to 10.1k from just off idle to full throttle. It does not go to 27k unless I do a complete reflash, which I have done 3 times in a week.

Any ideas on how the desired can limit itself to 10.1k? I have no codes, andthe airdog is showing 10psi, so filters shouldn't be plugged

Your filters should have nothing to do with what the ecm is desiring. Is this tune the main tune in your dsp or is it one of the dsp files that you change to?

Hmm not sure. The switch is in pos 1 for hottest tune, 5 for stock. Switching between the tunes results in the same 10.1k

fuel temperature sensor. Log it and I bet you'll see that its reading something crazy like 200*+

You sir are correct-probably. I scanned with the insight, had p0181. Cleared it, and the pressure was normal again! It did trip again on the way home, so i need to research this more.

But thanks a ton!!! This was causing me quite a bit of stress, I am just happy to make some progress!
