9th injector removal
I just unbolted mine from the exhaust and then zip tied it to the frame rail. My tuner said that I had to leave it connected to the wiring harness. I had originally thrown it away with the stock exhaust and had to actually go dumpster diving to retrieve the 9th injector. -

Can you guess what this is going to be??
Check out the Kwikload trailers they do the same thing. A manual brake lever to lock the front axle and then pull the safety pins and put the truck in reverse and lower the trailer. Pretty cool idea. I have seen them on Craigslist in Phx and at their website for less than $5k- Hoffie

LML Novice diesel guy here looking for advice

I like that Jeep. I hear you on the expensive parts. I have already replaced one of my head gaskets because my truck was doing the same thing. Wanna trade a 2011 Duramax for it. :D For $5k you can buy my truck and drop the LML into it or just swap out the body and put it on the newer...- Hoffie

Service trailer brake?
You might also want to look at the 7 pin connector and make sure that it is clean and that each pin is actually making contact with the truck/trailer. Try a new 7 pin on the trailer and see if that cures up the issues. -

Loud Turbo whine from 2000rpm and up
The pulley would squeal all the time even at idle if really bad. It would do it all throttle positions when I am on it medium to hard and the squeal is not always there. But thanks for your input.- Hoffie

No decrease in boost, no noise at idle or when I let off of the throttle so it is most likely a leaking boot. I did look around and saw oil on the up pipe boot that I have not noticed before. Diesel shops in the Phoenix area
I seem to have a leak that is making a lot of whistling when I get on the throttle. Might need new intercooler pipes or an egr pipe welded. I have not looked under the hood for the problem, I need to get off of my butt and go look under the hood to see if I can visually see the problem.- Hoffie

Up pipe crack on 2011 LML
Did you ever take pictures of your project? I have an '11 as well and my turbo is getting pretty loud at throttle above 2000rpms. -

Loud Turbo whine from 2000rpm and up
My stock turbo has gotten louder with mileage and I have more oil leaking out of intercooler on the lower passenger side of the intercooler. it almost sounds like a squealing belt drive. I know that I probably have 2 separate issues going on here and I do have some high mileage on them.- Hoffie

It looks like an alarm system that has been disabled. It should have a plug that goes into the front to allow the truck to start and run - much like a Ravelco Anti Theft Device.- Hoffie

LML CP4 Problems

LML 17" Tire Weight Rating Issue - Looking For Suggestions
When you look for new tires look at the load ratings and you want a tire that is rated at 124 or higher in number. A 124 will get you 3500lbs per tire. 2011 LML 500,000 mile mark
The '11 doesn't come with a steering stabilizer on it even though the mounting brackets are there. Are you running one to help with the shimmy? Just before I blew the hose I had a death wobble start a couple of times. They don't appear if the wheel is turned - only when straight in that slop... -

2011 LML 500,000 mile mark
This week I added a high pressure power steering hose, new pitman arm, center link and tie-rod ends. Then went and got it aligned and she runs nicely down the roadways again without all that play in the steering wheel. It was pretty bad - 11 o'clock to 3 o'clock all while going straight.
