Center Console Repair
Or you can go on Amazon.com and order new latch assembly. I have had to replace mine once, so far. I would worry that when you tilt the center console up the lid would come open and spill everything that is inside like my XD45 and extra mag.:thumb:- Hoffie

2011 LML 500,000 mile mark
For longevity, I like and use Cooper Discovery all terrain tires 275 series on the stock 18" rims. I average between 65,000 and 75,000 miles on them. -

My oil changes are when the DIC says to do so. It has been averaging between 8 - 10,000 miles. (When the DEF was going bad it would need to be changed every 3,000 miles). The stock fuel water separator filter also done with the DIC and it averages 40 - 50,000 miles. That was before the Lift pump... -

2011 LML 500,000 mile mark
Today while traveling through Arkansas, my truck blew one of the power steering hoses. It has had some slop in the steering and I messed up and adjusted the play in the steering gear - which did nothing for the worn pitman arm. So, it blew the hose. It did have over 500,000 on those hoses... -

LMM or LML
Install a lift pump and it will help with the longevity of the CP4. My LML has 509k miles on the stock engine and transmission. Full delete of the DPF and DEF with new exhaust and block off the EGR.- Hoffie

Race Seats
I have the ProCar suspension seats in my truck and I drive all day in them with no problems. They will not match up to the factory seat mounts, so you will have to fabricate a mount for them if you want to use the stock mounts. Coolant loss?
My engine never left puddles of coolant either, until the radiator blew apart. Then after that it blew the top radiator hose off once and it would spew out of the recovery bottle while driving down the road. Never did show signs of water in my oil nor did I lose power. Now with a new radiator... -

08 LMM Battery replacement frequency
Optimas sold their name to a lesser quality company and they are not as good as they used to be. Batteries Plus has some good ones that are not too expensive. Did your batteries start smelling like rotten eggs before they died? How often do you drive the truck - less often the battery dies... -

Voltage Loss
Does the voltage ever climb to 14v while the engine is running? What is your voltage before you start the truck - on each of the batteries when disconnected?- Hoffie

Is this a gas or a diesel? If it is a gas model just buy a new aftermarket cat and replace the old one. What are the codes when the check engine light comes on? Are they the same every time since he has owned it? You can try lemon law if the same occurrence has not been fixed after 3 attempts.- Hoffie

Coolant loss?
Whatever you do - Do not add any radiator or engine water stop leak to your engine. I can not stress that enough. Diesels do not like that stuff - unlike gasoline engines. Btw, I never saw water in my oil at any time during my issues. -

Sounds like the heads to me. Mine did the same thing until it finally got so bad that I had to replace one of the cylinder heads. You can check the recovery bottle cap to make sure that it is holding pressure or you can go to a shop and have a water pressure test done - very easy and probably do... -
