Anyone ever been on the studio tour at Paramount? Is it worth $55?

I was working there last Aug-Nov and those tours run non-stop...They give you a nice bit of Hollywood history, I think that studio has been there around 100 years...You ride in a 6 or 8 passenger golf cart and there's a gift shop and a commissary for lunch...If you like the history, go for it...Let me know when you're in town...

BTW, my Dad worked briefly on the original Rockford Files and we both worked on the TV movies in the 90s :D

Thanks for the info, Chris. I'll let you know when I'm around. What part of the area are you in? That's cool about Rockford. I watched the whole series on Netflix a few years ago. It was great.

Far East LA - aka Phoenix
3 days to visit CA will not give you time to go north on the PCH to all of the good stuff above S.F. You will most likely need to stay south of Paso Robles near where the Hearst Castle is located. There are some nice wineries in that area if you like wine tasting. Are you military? If so, there are some great bases (LA AFB & Camp Pendleton) to stay at while in CA. Palm Springs tram and Big Bear Lake have a lot of snow if you want to play in the white stuff. Run down to San Diego and then to Mexico if you want to buy some white stuff:rofl: A Camaro will be overkill when sitting in the traffic of southern CA. You won't get to enjoy the car as much as you would like when cruising at 10mph on the 405, 5, 101, 15, 805, etc...
