    LBZ Drivers side Dipstick ??

Ended up finally getting to the dipstick yesterday after changing out my brakes. Went pretty smoothly, had a lift to use. Only thing I had to do was unclip the fuel lines to get the dipstick tube sitting right. I could not fasten the top bracket, but not worried about it.

LMM: Get truck ready for plow season?

Thanks for the tips. I was just deciding whether or not to grab some stainless lines for trans, brakes and hydroboost. Might as well add em to the list. U joints were just replaced with the front end build but i do have a spare in my toolbox. My CV's aren't quite shot but are well abused so...

LMM: Get truck ready for plow season?

Hey all. This will be my first winter plowing with my LMM, had a couple questions I was hoping to poll you on. Plow is a Fisher XV 8'6". It weighs 900lbs. I usually use a company vehicle but since this will be my own I want to make sure she's well prepared. This isn't my first rodeo so I don't...

    Question: Spring clamp location?

I decided to add rear clamps as well. New brakes are going in and I want that axle to stay put until I can get new springs. Only took it for a quick jaunt this far, but it made an impact. Truck takes the bumps like I expect now, hard, but no bouncy bs after the fact. These will do for now :)

    Busted by police for deleting

Doubt it. I love in one of the few emissions states, and by far one of the more liberal states. MA. Granted, I don't "roll coal", but myself and countless others have not had any issues

Quick dumb question - OEM torsion key

Howdy. I've been searching for OEM torsion arms/keys to remove the level kit the PO had installed. Over at duramaxforum, someone offered to send me his '07 classic keys, will they be the same as the LMM? I'm looking to get back to stock or just over stock ride height. Thanks

    LBZ Drivers side Dipstick ??

Does anyone know if someone makes a "short" dipstick, that would be accessible under the truck? Or if not, if cutting a tube to do such a thing can be done or the wise was of it I haven't begun the install of the driver side tube yet, but I'm sick of tracking down things that rub and...

    LBZ Drivers side Dipstick ??

I'm not cutting it, if it doesn't fit correctly, I'll use the new seal on the passenger tube and bend it to fit, then have Evan help me out when it's built Mike, while your on the line. Any recommendations for what else I should do while the trans is out for the build...

Talk to me about alignment settings

Thanks both for the advice. At this moment, I'm not going to tackle it myself, it would end up being worse. The last place definitely made caster adjustments. I'm gonna take this advice right to the guy. town fair is cheap for an attempt, and I'd like to see if they do any better than the...

Talk to me about alignment settings

Alignments have never made much sense to me off paper. Because of that, I'm in deep water when I get one done. I'm having trouble aligning my truck properly for how it's set up. The front wheels look to me as if they are both set with toe in too much, or maybe camber set too low or...

    LBZ Drivers side Dipstick ??

Haha I'll just have to hope for smooth install or me being inventive enough. I won't be building the trans til oct, maybe nov, but I refuse to let it leak til then

    LBZ Drivers side Dipstick ??

Ok, Sunday it is then. Thanks for the honest time estimate. Any tips or tricks for proper placement/routing? Or just however i can get it to fit. Never thought I'd have to ask about a dipstick but it seems these can be a pain.

    LBZ Drivers side Dipstick ??

Hey all. Sorry to thread jack, but I didn't want to start a new thread just for a dipstick. Sucker or not, I bought the HSP dipstick shortly after my downpipe install during which I destroyed the dip stick seal/grommet. So in a hurry I just found the part from HSP and jumped on it along with...

    Question: Spring clamp location?

I'd be curious to hear if you like the front or rear better. I'll try to switch them in a week or so. I'm giddy over this hahah
