    Thanks for the tip, I had read about the caltrac creaks. My springs are shot at this point or close to. Deaver emailed me saying without a block there will be 0 axle wrap...hmmm. I only have wrap mainly due to the springs/bushings being well worn. I'm not pushing outrageous power in comparison...

    Along with the trans I need to replace my leaf springs. No issues with the OEM replacements, but ultimately I think i'll need some traction aids whether they be caltracs or track bars or something else. Since the OEM springs w/ bolts are just under $400, and track bars or caltracs would double...

    I went from a 2014 1500, to a '15 LML, to the '08 LMM I have. Like the Tacoma, the duramax and most diesel 4x4's hold their value exceptionally well. I new if I bought my truck wholesale and got the right year, that I would be in the happy place for the next 50k miles where the value would stay...

    ^ therein lies your dilemma, we all do it a little bit differently. My numbers are with 265/60r20 tires on a 20x9 wheel. Every persons combination will be slightly different. I would start with both front and rear being the 50's with the rear lower by 4 or 5 psi.

    Tires depend on a lot. Rotations, alignment, driving style, parts quality on the front end and inflation based on your usage. Also, the tire itself as all are different from brand to brand, design to design and even tire to tire. While unloaded, running 60psi all around created center channel...

    Cold side intercooler boot

    depending on your end goals, mishimoto also has 3" cold side kit. When pairing with an EGR delete/cold side tube, you just need to get the bottom part and they quoted me like $80. If you go that route, you'll need a reducer boot from 3 to 2.5 and then put the cold side right in.

    absolutely. Just decide whether you want a shipped one and send back your core, or if you want to drive out to one. Im lucky evans only 2 hours from me. Plenty of guys do a full days drive for a build, then drive it right back home.

    More informed heads will chime in on that one, but the short answer is yes. There are a few names at the top of everyones list, and ATS isn't really on anyones list :) and plenty of people in between. Im having Evan at limitless do mine fwiw.

    Good info Mike, thanks. I guess i'll at least rephrase what I meant as it applied to me, but what you said obviously makes sense. I hadn't cleared the TAP's once since I bought the truck. After adding quite a bit of goodies and tunes etc, and still having some weird driveline...

    Yeah id say thats early. Im by no means an allison expert but usually when I have an issue I just initiate a re-learn and it seems to do the trick. Wish I could be more helpful
