LBZ: Needs Some help Looking at Used Trucks

Great on the cover and pan! Those two items likely mean that the previous owner was up on his service intervals, else why waste time/money on the new pans? SB is pretty much the go-to as long as you are keeping a stock intake track. If you're gonna move stuff around down the road, might as...

LBZ: Needs Some help Looking at Used Trucks

glad you found the right truck! Sell the KN and grab yourself and SB or something else. Nothing really wrong with the KN and its already installed so it's a nice extra, but depending on what filter is installed it may not be the best thing to keep on.

    Pitman arm

I will say though rig, that even with the full rare parts front end, steering still isn't all that sexy. It's better for sure, but still wanders some and has some minor issues. I still have the stock centerlink, leaky HB line and stock box fwiw. Have stainless HB lines going in this week but i...

    Pitman arm

I use rare parts for pitman/idler/idler support and tie rods. Very happy with them thus far though the tie rods do like to shed grease. I am not a vendor here, though I do have a wholesale account with them if you want to PM me. I'm sure there are vendors on here that have an account with them...

    Duramax hp ?

How many stickers are you running? if you have 3 you get .5% more HP per sticker, but if you have more than three you have to account for the .35% loss due to weight additions.

But to clarify, you are still you did it? And nice OP. Let us know after a couple days how you feel. This is way cheaper than sourcing OEM mounts

    Another pump bites the dust

Thanks for the input. Wish there wasn't so much BS surrounding certain parts. Glad to know all these trucks steer like shit when stationary. That doesnt make sense but you know what I mean

    Another pump bites the dust

no dickheadedness intended, but wouldn't you expect PSC to require some sort of verification the issue is with the pump? Not saying it isn't the pump, but typically without proof manufacturers want the part back first or else they'd lose too much moolah

Welcome from an eastern neighbor on the Cape. I picked up my LMM with 51k in march, 75k on her now. Lots of good info here if you know how to sift through the wise cracks ;)

    Another pump bites the dust

Get it, drift pun? My best to date was still the girlfriend comment. "honey why do you spend all your time on your truck and not with me" "when you start making jet noises and can throw me back into the seat for 10 seconds at a time, we'll talk" haha

    Another pump bites the dust

Hahaha, could be. Not a competition for idiocy but I tend to be over harsh on all of my equipment, which is why I am so anal about maintaining everything. I have been gentle on my truck since i got it in march in comparison to some other vehicles i've owned, only cuz I wanted to understand it's...

    Turbo help

I believe many have done that, but you need a stronger plate than just the blocker. If it were me, I would spend the extra $200 and get a race pipe from RDL or DRP. Have one good go at it rather than leave the egr present.
