    Don't have either but based on my experience with multiple other set ups I would think the first option would be safe. I'm sure you would be looking at serious trimming on the second.

    This is just my opinion, but i don't think I'd bother changing the damper without addressing the other issues.

    An easy check that doesn't require any tools is to check the driver side intercooler pipe where the power steering lines pass by. They can rub a hole in the pipe over time.

    Trans tuning

    I really liked it on my truck. I'm geared towards performance though. It did make the trans behave better in dd situations too but I don't know if it's worth the money for that alone.

    Good shop in the Greenville SC area?

    I had head gaskets, ARP studs, heads reworked with a few new valves, new exergy 30 overs, stealth64 turbo, and a few other things done including buying all parts for under 7k. Same shop did gaskets studs egr delete and downpipe on my buddy's lly for under 4500.

    All of this explains a lot. I remember back in high school all the sound competition guys swore by optima. When i went to replace my battery last year all i could find on optima was garbage reviews.

    I run a single Battery for weight reduction. Like others have said it is slower cranking but I have no trouble even in the winter but I do use my block heater over night.
