Good catch! Sorry to hear about your damage! Something to think bout in removing the key holes. If your battery goes dead there is no way to open your doors unless you break in. You could create a hidden battery jump port. Just want to tell you in case you weren't thinking about a what if...- MACKIN

If you have glass coverage in addition to full coverage (theft ETC) it should be covered. Minus deductible of course. Thats where the stickler would be which deductible? Glass usually cheap to none ,theft $250 or a lot more? Good luck- MACKIN

I agree Buying a vehicle today is a whole lot different then it was years ago. Most big volume dealers are near or at invoice or what they refer to as invoice. That's not what they pay for the vehicle. So the only prep one can do besides not impulse buy is research the invoice price...- MACKIN
