Just finished putting a g-max kit in an 05 and it won't move. When I first started it up it threw a P0700, P0843, P0872, P0875 and P0847. I took the valve body out and checked everything and put it back together. Now it doesn't throw any codes it just sits there and won't go into any gear. Sometimes it gives the range shift inhibited readout. Everything worked fine when I pulled it in the shop to upgrade it. Does this sound like an NSBU issue? Any help appreciated.

You put fluid in it right? Those are all VB codes as you know so your problem is in there somewhere. I doubt its an NSBU issue..

Yes there is fluid in it. All of the codes are gone now and do not come back when I try to select gears. It just sits there.

Could the NSBU switch be installed wrong? Just a thought. I really don't know enough to post but feel for you and hope you get it figured out.

The wiring harness is plugged in isn't it? (Don't laugh) And all the pins in the plug are straight?

Yes the internal filter is in with the filter lock. Could it still be possible for it to come loose? I put four gallons in the tranny and about three quarts in the torque converter. Should that be enough to get started?

Pull the plug at the bottom of the bell housing next to the spin on filter for a couple of seconds and see if fluid gushes out while in park engine running.

Pulled the plug and wigh engine running I loosened the plug until fluid started coming out. It felt like there was quite a bit of pressure behind it so I didn't take it all the way out. Now all I am getting is a p0875 and still no movement.

The 875 is a valve body pressure switch [tin looking part attached to the valve body]- sure it is plugged in-? Might consider changing it-not to expensive.
