EGT's are overrated!!! Short bursts to 1800+ won't hurt, just don't hot lap it.

    13.2's in the LML

He is pretty close to sea level, maybe 100' or so. I ran a 13.8 @ 2900' elevation in Pinwell TX without a lockup box. Like Russ said above, it is amazing how smooth these things launch compared to the older styles. If I could get my lbz to be this smooth we would be in business!

    2015 Axle Shaft Lateral Runout

Update... I centered the front u-joint, had the driveshaft rebalance at 3000 rpms (even swapped a known good driveshaft to check it), replaced the pinion yoke, and replaced the driver side axle shaft. Vibration is still there with zero change!!! The wheel movement or lateral runout is gone...

    2015 Axle Shaft Lateral Runout

It's a one piece, no carrier bearing to worry about. Originally, the shaft was 6*, trans was 4*, and the pinion was 7*. I added 2* shims to drop the pinion to a better angle and there was zero change in the vibration so I didn't bother getting the angles after the shims. The shims will be...

    2015 Axle Shaft Lateral Runout

I appreciate the help, but i have already narrowed it down further. At this point, it is the pinion yoke, pinion, or ring gear. I pulled the axle shafts and the vibration is still there. Swapped driveshafts and it stayed the same. Pulled the drive shaft and the vibration disappeared. So i...

    2015 Axle Shaft Lateral Runout

I have been fighting the dreaded vibration since day one on my 2015 Denali. 3 sets of tires, 5 road force balances, and an ongoing law case later... the problem still exists and gets worse with a load. I may have stumbled across something that could be a potential problem. The rear wheel...

Cheapest place to get Rancho shocks?

How do the 9000's do on the track in the front. I want to run them all the way around for street/strip but thought about just swapping in some QA1 double adjusters on the front just for the track if the 9000's couldnt keep the front calm.
