PS pump ran dry, next step?

Pittman shaft seals are very common problems on our trucks. Have someone observe the pittman shaft arm/seal area while another person turns steering from lock to lock several times. You will be looking to see if the seal leaks at the end of the turn. If it leaks there, you will probably need...

LML Security error when attempting to start

Some high end scanners (not one of those $29.95 readers) will reset the security system. I don't know of any way other than with one of these. Of course, there may be other problems that may be the cause of your problems, bad wiring, connectors, shorts etc.

LMM: Lmm no start from key

You have proven that you have a short somewhere - the blowing fuse tells you that. Now, you just have to figure out where it is. Something is backfeeding voltage somewhere also. That may be harder to find. Get a wiring diagram to help you understand what wires connect to what wires.

Allison 6sp: Change in Fluid Color on Trip

I finished a trip from Kansas to South Carolina to Florida back to Kansas with my 12K 5er in tow. Just prior to the trip, I did a normal maintenance item of changing the spin-on filter and the fluid was pretty bright red, at least for 4 years and 40K miles of driving since my complete switch...

    Immediate coolant pressure

Just a WAG, clean or replace your cap on the tank. The cap lets air in and out at the appropriate time. If it's dirty, it might not work correctly. Many people just wash them with dish washing detergent, very hot water and a brush and blow them dry with compressed air.
