    Not normally but they do what you describe create a surge or lope. Usually some additive will help with it sticking. Some two-Stroke oil or anything non alcohol in every tank. Any drying agent like alcohol will ruin the seals in the injection system.

    Why was a valve adjustment done? I don't understand the "I think it kicks out of OD"? You should know by the raise of RPM on the downshift. Are there any DTC'S? Will it rev beyond 2500 rpm's ?

    You sure are getting the Run Around Sue treatment. As others have said you need the tracking number. Call your bank also as mentioned. EDP is a member here also probably reading along. Looks like the proper decision was made not to allow them vendor status.

    It does not appear to be a Edge problem . Have you changed the fuel filter ? EFI is nice but you can only raise the HP so much seeing you have a stock transmission.
