I was able to find a guy with a dyno close buy willing to test my truck, the only problem is that he is a gas only guy. He didn't think the dyno needed a load.
What load do I need to have him start with to get a good reading, fairly big turbos GT45R/GTX47? Dyno has a dual current eddie...
Fixed!
Paid $60 for the kit. The install was very simple and straight forward, no parts flying out when I took it apart. I changed the two front shaft seals and left everything else alone. Thanks again, saved me a bunch of $$$$.:thumb:
Was thinking about a repair/rebuild kit. You can get them for about 60-100 bucks. Just don't know if that will fix the leak. Anyone rebuilt their own pump?

I have a leaking CP3 pump. It's leaking from the weep hole on the front of the pump. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

Wow nice looking line, before this post if someone told me they used this for a high pressure line I would have thought they were crazy.
I had one of the original II blue lines and it failed after a few years, ended up making a hard line to replace it.
Don't know on power have not had it on the dyno, I should know something when I get it to the track in the spring. The 45 is gated but not the 47, the 47 will get a gate after the nitrous is installed.
So with the rules the way they are:
No nitrous
No 3/4 ton or bigger
No 4x4
I think that is going to be a hard sell...if I am going to build a purpose built diesel race truck I am going to use the NHRDA and my local track.
Why don't you race NHRDA? You have three events that are in reasonable driving distance from your location. If you are talking national level you are going to have to travel regardless of the organization, NHRA/NHRDA/NADM, etc.
Most local tracks will already let us race and really don't...
