I agree. It seems counter productive to burn more fuel to "reduce" emissions. The only emissions equipment I can see value in is the SCR or the "CAT" equivalent to reduce the stink diesel engines produce. Some deleted are so strong it makes your eyes water.- 2004LB7

I'm going to guess a minimum $10k increase just from the warranty alone. The rest is going to add another $10k+ so it wouldn't be unexpected to have the prices go up by $20k Hopefully the new administration can put the brakes on these changes and DOGE can neuter the agency so they don't just do...- 2004LB7

Anybody drag race with an lbz??
My time is identical but I have a 3k lb heavier truck. All stock except tuning and a built transmission. I agree that the launch in the video looks lazy. Do you have a time slip for that run? What was your 60' time? I'm going to guess your tune can use some refinement. And maybe even some tweaks...- 2004LB7

Not sure about the newer trucks. But on some of the older ones, I believe the fuel return pressure regulator was a culprit for long starts when the vehicle sat for long enough. Pressure bled down and it took a while for the pump to refill the lines and build pressure If you cycle the kay a few...- 2004LB7

I didn't look closely at the plumbing before, but now that you mention it, I see some issues too. Sanitary tee tying in the toilet line into he main run. 2010 LMM build advice
You might need to find the normal height body mounts unless they used spacers on the mounts. Those you can pull out to restore the factory height. You might also have brackets at the front and rear bumpers to lift them up too. So those would have to come out to lower the body back to stock height -

Just swapped the tires on my LLY for 265/75/16s. When pulling the spare out to get it swapped, I noticed that it was never used. The white paint strip was still visible. Checked the date code and it's from 2005. I bet this tire was on the truck from the factory and was never used. Original owner...- 2004LB7

Welcome Crankshaft breaking is rare. Sure they can happen. And increased power can contribute to it. But, truthfully, I'd not worry about it unless you want to start pushing big numbers or compound turbos IFS can be just as strong or even more so then solid front axles. The trucks that... -

As Tom said. Could be as easy as losing prime. Did you try pumping the primer bulb?
