    Circulating Heater

Can't say I've ever heard of anyone installing a coolant heater other then the diesel fired Webasto ones. I think there is several threads on here about those. On some of the standby generators I used to service they used coolant heaters to keep the engine warm so it was ready to go full blast...

Hurt my Jetta last night 😟

Also, need to get me another tire so I can put the spare back in the trunk. Luckily I just got new tires about 6 months ago so the tread wear should match up good with a new one

Yes. Through bolted to the body. It's used for camber mostly and if pushed forward or back a little caster. But really you might get 1 degree. Adjusting camber will effect the other wheel too. So usually it's set in the center and left there. But they have been known to shift. Mine has bushings...

Hurt my Jetta last night 😟

Got her put back together. Changed out the seatbelt and SRS module. Airbag light is now off. Took it for a test drive around the block. Definitely needs an alignment. Pulls a little to the right so I have to hold the steering wheel at the 11:00 position to drive straight. Debating wether I take...

Hurt my Jetta last night 😟

Got all my parts today at pick and pull. Swapped most everything. Fender, strut, control arm, hub, etc Tomorrow, I'm going to swap out the SRS module and inspect the seatbelt restraint system. Likely going to need to clear the codes and see what comes back Also need to repair the brake pad...

Truck wont rev much past 2k rpm no codes

Probably going into limp mode but codes are turned off. Makes diagnose difficult MAF seems low for that RPM

    You can swap without issues

I'd look over that harness real good for any breaks or damaged insulation. But as Tom pointed out, those TCM have a weird tendency to crap out. With yours banging around like you described, I'd consider it suspect at best. If you have a buddy or someone else that has the same truck, maybe try...

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Tom. I have to work today. But hopefully I can get off early

Blurry, but doesn't even look like it reached the cold hash marks.

DTC P0842 Circuit Description The pressure switch manifold (PSM) is a multiple-switch assembly made up of three normally open (N/O) and one normally closed (N/C) pressure switches. The C pressure switch monitors C shift valve positioning and relays it to the transmission control module (TCM)...

What the fluid level with the engine idling and cold?

Kinda sounds like a low fluid level issue to me

    GM upfitter electrical manuals

I was thinking more about the main electrical manuals. Organized by generation and labeled well. I know there are potentially thousands of posable documents one can need. But thare are some that are routinely requested that we can maybe host here. A drop down menu with maybe 10-15 manuals one...

    GM upfitter electrical manuals

Seems like every so often GM changes the site and makes it harder to find the needed PDFs on the upfitter website. The ones we've downloaded over the years are typically too large to upload here and of course, since space is a premium and uploading 5+ Mb files every time one is needed will fill...

Hurt my Jetta last night 😟

I'll do that. Doesn't look much more expensive to acquire all those parts when purchased together. After a little reading, I'm pretty sure the seatbelt restraint activated and that is the source of the airbag light. So I think I'll need another SRS module and seatbelt system. I'm checking with...

Hurt my Jetta last night 😟

Control arm mounts look fine to me. Might be the angle of the picture. Lighting or something else. But that is how they are supposed to be. Subframe looks untouched too Here is a picture of the rear mount that might be easier to see

Hurt my Jetta last night 😟

Dug into it a bit tonight. Other then some of the plastic bits and that tweaked fender. It doesn't look like anything else, other than the lower control arm. There's always the chance the bearings are toast. So might get me a replacement. Same for the ball joint. Also the possibility of some...

Hurt my Jetta last night 😟

There is a subframe. But it doesn't fully attach to the lower A arm. It's also cast aluminum. So it would more than likely crack before bending. The rear of the A arm bolts into the body. So, hopefully it's no damaged and it's just the suspension parts. I did see that my local pick-and-pull...

But aren't the mosquitos as big as birds? And as numerous as tree leaves?
