    Lmm in lbz

    I installed LBZ injectors into my LMM because the LBZ are 7 hole instead of the LMM 6 hole. I had to shave a locating tab off of the LBZ injector connector. So LMM injectors should plug right into a LBZ harness.

    Haven’t heard about that but certain stations in California are using renewable diesel. Less smoke and you get better mileage if you mix it 50/50 with regular diesel. Cetane rating is higher but energy content is lower just like biodiesel.

    Just use your LBZ engine harness on the LMM motor. I believe the LMM has a coolant port on the oil cooler that the LBZ doesn’t have, so you’ll have to use your coolant crossover from your LBZ and either the oil cooler or block the port on the LMM cooler.     Kennedy does make a cool filter head that mounts in between their pumps in case you ever want to change it up. But they put a bleeder directly on top of their filter head. I would think if you put yours on the side there could be a possibility of some air remaining trapped

    That’s what I run and the clutches looked good after years of 1000hp. But not really sure if fluid makes that much of a difference 🤷‍♂️

    Built trans? If not there’s no point to throw it on a Dyno to have it tuned. Really no point to even have it dyno tuned unless you want every last HP out of it.

    There’s also life insurance policies that will basically be a savings account with compound interest, and you can also borrow against your policy for a low %. But if you invest properly you will get 10% a year at least.

    Invest your savings wisely. Use that 10-15% earned from it to put towards your mortgage as extra.

    I heard that the truck would command the EGR to open. It was something to do with airflow. I can’t remember if it was too much boost or too much commanded boost according to how much airflow the truck was getting.

    Contact the smog ref, they have to look it up and make sure the Carb approved part isn’t available and isn’t updated. If it’s not they will allow the Federal part to be installed but they will need to inspect the truck
