Don't forget to factor in the cost of the shipping of the deaver springs. I have the progressive ride deavers and I kinda wished I went with the way you mentioned at first. Unloaded, it's still quite stiff but better than the factory with overloads. Mine was 700 but cost me 900 to get it shipped...- Ridin'GMC
