Help sourcing a bed for my ccsb 05 lly ?

Rust is very common at the rockers, cab corners and under the bed. Also the rear shock mounts are common as well for the rust belt. The best thing to do is completely coat the underbed with bedliner. I honestly have not seen a truck with bedliner fail to rust besides the exposed uncoated area...

    2.8L Canyon Test Toy

What failed on the motor? Curious what the stock engine could push at to know its limit before blowing up.

    Failed inspection

As far I know after talking to my inspection buddies, 07 classic and older does not require a emission test. Your inspection station screwed up, you'll have to go to the DMV and get it straightened out. LMM and newer requires emission testing. Don't sell it since it's flagged, nobody in MA would...

Somebody please talk me out of this.

Sell the quad and waverunner if you want to save money and have a paid off truck.

    Failed inspection

If you're saying they plugged it in by OBD2, then that's right. All inspection station are required to plug the car in to check for emission related codes that may be in the history or active in the ECM. A bad tune can cause it to trigger a red flag.

    Failed inspection

I'm not sure why you had to do emissions. Mine is an 07 classic and I asked my buddy who does the inspection when he did mine, he told me that me that our truck doesn't require emissions test unless it has a gvcw more than 10k. So the 2500 are okay but not the 3500. I have no egr in it but it...

    LLY: Properly removing GM paint

Yep a common issue for the white crowd. Mine did the same thing, pissed me off since it was a mint truck.

Of course I kept her! There was no way in hell I'm letting that truck slip away. She isn't that bad to get it back together, basically needs a frame and front clip along with fan, radiator, etc.. you get the idea. I'm going to go for a 1 piece front clip from fiberwerx. The down side is that...

The white one will be having it eventually. :D I'm about to buy a house that'll give me more room to work on my stuff, even the garage has 8' tall doors :woott: So James, are you going to help me with the front shock setup? I'm planning on building a set of control arms to push the front...

Haven't been here in a while. I lowered mine 3" and love how it looks. It doesn't ride too bad towing either with it lowered too.

Believe me, that's just the beginning. It gets much worse, your priorities change to kids first to you last. One kid isn't bad, 3 is but I love them. My youngest is almost 11 months old.

I'll definitely check on that. Probably this weekend, it's damn near impossible to get things done when you have 3 kids under 5 years old.

I did some more looking into the truck for the fog, the wiring seem to be there behind the bumper but haven't looked yet behind the dash, hopefully it is. I tried hooking up to the ECM and just as I suspected, the ECM is locked so I'll be needing a stock tune. Wasn't able to see what OS it is.

That's about normal for most Lb7 owners. MA is full of hills so you're right in the range.

Yea yea yea... I know lol. I'll change it eventually. I'm glad I found this one, one of the cleanest one I've seen in New England in over a month of searching. And red is my favorite color :D

Bench cloth interior with radio steering wheel buttons. I think it's a LT1? Can't confirm it but I have the VIN saved on my phone if you can decipher it.
