    Everything i have is hear say, it's all i can submit.:) 200 lbs lighter, no granny type gear, lower OD gear, no computer, input is based on TPS, weak shafts budget R and R. No word on converter lock up and controlling same. The swap hasn't been "debugged" yet and needs to be more civilized...

    What a drag, I feel your pain. First thing we did is step back and take a look. No find, swept the area into a pile, got creepers, magnets and halogen lights. Laid on da bellies and searched piece by piece. Glad you could get your part flown in... nobody seems to have one of these parts...

    Thank god we go straight when at the drag strip... :D Go rape it (truck) in the rain in 4 hi. It's just a different counter steer process when 4 wheel is engaged... IMHO. Mine didn't like it but it lived and i learned. I got a feel for it by doing boosted launches/trying to make it break...

    You are correct, the light duty trucks have a 4 cyl and a 5.2 litre in them. All the way up to 27k +/-.

    Data cable, lotsa dif kinds depends on how many conductors you want. 10 pair? 20 pair? 50 pair? See your local home depot for small stuff and talk to the phone man or electrical supply house for big stuff. Hope this helps. Sorry for jumping in.:)

    Yea, comparison. I replaced the sleeve because when i installed them originally there was a gap/space between the sleeve and the tie rod (the ID of the sleeve is greater than the OD of the tie rod). The inside edge of the sleeve actually acted as a "fulcrum point" moving the bend point...

    I attached a couple pickies, truck is coming along. Need to get the trans up to Mike L, get the locker in, assemble the motor and drop it in, waiting on ONE part to start motor assembly. Tie some of the plumbing together and start working the bugs out. Prolly be rolling under it's own power...
