i searched for a old thread to put this pic in but couldnt find it

I used up 7 pins on my lb7 today and need 3 more for the TCM:eek:
ALL DONE ON THE BLUE ECM

dsp 2 is Pin 31 (Y) signal and pin 60 or 63 for ground (YW)
dsp5 is pin 69 ( Grn ) pin 49 for ground (Grn-W)
dsp output pin # 39 (bl-w)
high idle is pin # 71 (BR)

c1-12 and c1 28 for OD lockout
c1 20 is optional light for OD lockout

I picked up 25' lenth of data cable and used it for all the ECM wires and have 2 spares for futre use

Sure was easy when there is no motor:D but makes it difficult to test them;)

So I take it that multi-conductor wire we found worked then. How about all the switches?

I like your idea. I have the high idle already installed but am going to do a OD lockout and the dsp2 and dsp5 before she rolls out of the shop. Where did you get your data cable simon? What did you do for switches, mainly the OD lockout switch? Kennedy's writeup on the lockout says you need a "momentary" switch. How is that different from trippin's overhead switches?

Data cable, lotsa dif kinds depends on how many conductors you want.

10 pair? 20 pair? 50 pair? See your local home depot for small stuff and talk to the phone man or electrical supply house for big stuff.

Hope this helps. Sorry for jumping in.:)

tripens are on/off momentary is kinda a push button for lack of a better expanation.....either way they are different

exactly Homo depot would probaly have all this stuff you will probably want atleast 10 lines and about a 18-20 gauge thickness

or Jason try radio shack.....if all fails i can send you some;)

the DSP 5 switch i had allready and i got from trippen, but you could just make your own. The dsp 2 and output you can just use trippens switches

whats the "output" switch or wire for?

C-ya

thats really up to you Mitch

Open this stock dsp tune and check out tables A0115 to A0124 all these tables can be used in conjuction with the output switch

Basically you could set these table to turn on NOS ,Lift pump, water meth, anything that involves the use of a toggle switch:) and be turned on/off by means of throttle posistion RPM cool temp and so on so on

Will i use it, maybe? but its wired in now if i choose to;)

Good question Mitch, I was gonna ask the same thing. I may have to put that in my overhead since it appears OD lockout wont work there. Maybe I could use that if I ever decide to put the SD h20 setup in that has been sittin on the bench for 2 years.
The other overhead switch is supposed to be for the E-locker, I hope it will work for that. I got a dsp2 switch from Mcrats and a dsp5 from Guy.
What are you going to use on your OD lockout Simon?

Sine I removed the fog lights I used that switch and it has a small light allready hooked to it + the wires are allready right beside the TCM

Also wired in a converter lock up light,It is sweet but not very bright in the day
