    Mike, Given all your experience with the Allison and cooling work you have done and are doing. Do you recommend plate and fin style coolers or tube style coolers? How much volume are we trying to move and do either of these designs work better than another? Thanks. OT- haven't talked...

    I never took my back window out, we used it for sketching ideas alot... OT- Dude the truck is coming along, dig the exhaust exit (looks like your done with tailgates). The truck is SL...........AMMED. Whatcha doin with your hood? Fiber replacement?

    5 to 6 speed conversion with Banks

    I ran a BANKS PDA for awhile, 30k miles?? can't say ran it with a 6 speed. install the 6 speed and put the banks on LVL 1, baseline test. If you have problems at LVL 1 your gonna have issues elsewhere. I tried all kinds of stoopid crap with EFI and Banks... Banks is fun.

    no attorney in his right mind is going to write a letter on a clients behalf unless he is "held harmless", no client in his right is going to release that. Secondly, unless ATS has in house councl how would the Attorney garner enough information to compose such a letter? This is a mess...

    I read most of this thread and portions of compdiesel thread. Read the letter from ATS. Gents, IMO, this is simply BIG business. Millions in DPF hi perf, the market has to go this direction. ATS is a fair size company turning a big profit through commodity and volume... this creates risk...

    I moved mine that same location mounting it up off the a custom tray with 1/2" rubber washers, then mounted the other on top of it using hi dens foam. You can lose the bracket under the (almost 2.0 lbs) battery tray mounted to the core support as well... The wires looked exposed so i picked up...

    IMO- they are both great chargers. I look at it like this. IF you are a racer the 42 may be the best becuase it provides max HP/air at the racing RPM, stock. It is claimed said they are a little peaky and boost comes on hard, perfect for racing. Driving on the street more than down the 1/4...

    Anybody ever try one of these things? I picked up a nitro powered 1/8th scale truck, about 16" long 10" wide. It runs on nitro and some other additives, oil? Anyway it's essentially a 2 stroke diesel with a glow plug. Has a 2 speed tranny, you can change shift timing, all the gear ratios...

    I looked at this stuff, really nice. Search more they have some VERY nice liquid exchangers as well IIRC. Top shelf IMO. These guys are 30 minutes north of me, give a sh*t, and fab/test the stuff 25' behind where i buy it. They can and will think outside the box...

    I thought about it, I'm sure it's substantial. I think i prolly overcompensated for heat soak and the water temp with the fans, oil cooler size/cooling surface and number of passes on the cooler. I may have to put a switch on the fan. IMO- GM did what every decent engineer would do and stuck...
