If you were to build a 2023 lbz

Haha I love my blue and grey Bilsteins, they see rough grids and mud every week. Unlike your pavement princess haha

If you were to build a 2023 lbz

Ya they are more of an 'offroad' shock I believe so a bit stiffer. I'd try out the yellow bilsteins for a smoother ride. Anything but fox lol

If you were to build a 2023 lbz

I have 3000 miles on my cardone new 6 bolt box, still is nice and tight with no leaks. Which color Bilsteins do you have? I think the yellow ones ride like stock. I have the grey and blue ones which suit my needs. Wayy better ride than a rough ass fox.

If you were to build a 2023 lbz

You lost me when you said Tundra. That being said haha avoid Fox shocks. Junk. I spend alot of money on a set of them with the remote reservoir and they were rough, blew the seals out, and the bushings out. Go Bilstein or Rancho

Drive the shit out of it one day then check the rad hose In the morning.

    Lml no power

Looks like the map is moving and the baro is staying the same. Are you just revving the truck in park? You need to drive it while scanning, otherwise you won't see much frp or tell if it wants to build boost. Check: MAF MAP FRP DFRP

Oh I know haha. I'm going to try and tighten them up first see if I get lucky.

    Drive pressure leak

I duct tape a shop vac hose into my tailpipe with it on the blow setting and sprayed soapy water on my up pipes at the turbo. Worked perfect!

    Blown turbo seal

This is an old post I doubt the OP is around but if you read the comments they purchased from injectorsdirect which I would bet the house on that caused their issue.

    Drive pressure leak

I thought that also, so I replaced the junk diamond eye DP with one from PPE and it seems to have made 0 difference. I'm going to pressure test the up pipes tomorrow see If I can pin point it. Has anyone had ARP up pipe bolts break off In the turbo? I had them installed with the up pipes last...

    Drive pressure leak

I've had a slight drive pressure leak that I finally have had time to look into. You can hear the faint 'whine' when the motor isn't up to temp and boost starts to build and goes away when you let off the throttle. Once the motor is up to temp you can barely hear it but it's still there. I...

    Lb7 current 67mm drop in vs s400

I've asked this question before with my 72vgt wanting to goto a 467.7 and was told my 72 won't be as lazy. I run a Limitless 2300 stall.

Getting back on the horse again

I hate how big the new trucks are but decided if I ever let my LMM go it'll be for a 2024 L5P, I love the new AT4s and those new interiors have sold me. I can't stand the 17-23 interior. LB7s are getting old man, 20+ years. Couldn't imagine paying 20k for a truck that has injectors under the...

    Nitto 420V

3000lbs per tire is pretty good. If your truck weighs 7000lbs then you have another 5000lbs of capacity which is ALOT of payload. My tires have a 117q load rating which is about 2800lbs a tire and have never had an issue, but they are E , 10 ply. Imo if you need the extra 300lbs per tire...

LMM wheel bearing on a classic

That's good to know. I found the cv axle nut feel off once and was paranoid my hub was going to fall apart one day. Guess that explains that.

01-10 steering box redhead ,PSC ,OEM

Just finished putting that new 6 bolt in. Install went pretty good other than attaching the steering shaft to the gear was an absolute chore. Steering is definitely more sensitive with this gear and feels like 0 slop in the wheel what so ever. Truck turns like a vette now lol, wants to anyway.

sheared crank pin cranks, no start

I'm still on a stock bottom end but if the time ever arrives that I build it the Callies Durastar is what I would go for. With all the horror stories of guys reusing cranks and they break shortly after that would be a lot of money I'd hate to spend 2x. Lots of real-world experience on here tho...
