1/4 mile discussion and time slips post here!

Cummins still has the most diesels under 11sec for sure. Heck, with them being abundant for 20years its a cheap project to start on. I'm thinking we should see a lot more dmax project trucks since there is 10years of inventory floating around. delivered via tapatalk by your forum daddy!!

    Curiosity.....Pistons?

The object is to have a very reliable 700hp motor. If the lb7 pistons are going to be an "iffy" choice then it won't be used. The point is to be reliable but not go overkill on the build. The build money needs to be put in the areas that we will get the best return. delivered via tapatalk...

    Curiosity.....Pistons?

For a 700 HP or so motor build, would you use oem lb7 pistons? Why or why not? (Somewhat of a budget build) delivered via tapatalk by your forum daddy!!

    Custom Cat twin Filter setup

As big as that 749 is, you could probably run it a lot longer than that. Heck, the equipment it goes on probably uses 50-100gal a day during long hard work. Over a couple of months, that's a ton of miles you could put on a dmax before the filter even comes close to being restricted. But I...

That fleetgaurd is a 2micron nominal filter. It's only 50% efficient at 2 micron. The cat is 99% efficient at 2 micron. HUGE difference! delivered via tapatalk by your forum daddy!!
