LBZ: P0087, Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Too Low
Did this just start happening or is it after he started running the tunes? Whats the lift pump pressure at WOT? Whats the rail pressure at WOT during/into a run? Could be too much fuel being called for, not enough lift pump pressure under WOT (i am sure there is unless pump is bad), or... -
How much should a shop charge to install??
Individually: Shim kit - ~1/2-1 hour Lift pump - depending on pump ~1-2 hours Gauges - ~ 1-2 hour. Most shops should be able to bill that out at about 3 to 3.5 hours total labor if they are doing all that, and figure $80-$100/hour labor...- MMLMM

Another shop lift question
Just make sure to pour the conc. a little thicker in two square areas where its going to be sitting. I think most lifts (in the capacity to hold a dmax) call for at least 5" of thickness (mainly for the expansion anchor). Maybe hit 6"-7" in those two areas where the lift will sit to be on the...- MMLMM

4in down pipe
Have you tried backing down the tune? Is the tune on a DSP program, so you can kick it back to a very mild low EGT tune for the heavy grades? Might be an idea.- MMLMM

:rolleyes: Were talking about read diff fluid and the only thing you would add is a friction modifier, nothing else. When he said additive I was thinking he meant some sort of additive like we'd use in oil (IE: lucas, slick 50 or some type of stabilizer). I guess your right, adding to something...- MMLMM

RECON Lighting
I did the recon third brake light, went to wash truck and headliner as soaked.. You can still see a bit of where the water was on it :mad: I ended up running a bead of silicone around the light and then sticking it to the truck and tighten it down. Sucks, but no leaks.- MMLMM
