    New Cooper Discoverer SST Pro

Does anyone have any feedback on these new tires? They have a agressive look to them and have good sidewalls. With that they're not to overly priced. Here's a link from the coopers website. http://us.coopertire.com/Tires/Light-Truck/DISCOVERER-STT-PRO.aspx

    Shoutout to LDS

I've done over 30 LB7 injector jobs and always had hell with the local dealerships getting me parts and at decent price. Lately I've used LDS for my resource and they haven't let me down. Very fast shipping from WI to NM and Lauren and Brent are excellent people to deal with. I'm looking forward...

    Bigger replacement radiator

I just pulled our backhoe (14.5klbs) on our tandem dual gooseneck trailer that weighs in the neighborhood of 8k the other day when it was around 98* out. Runing 65-70 temps were around 210-215 going up the caprocks which can be 5 miles stretch I saw 225 ECT. once. Trans got to 217* and oil temps...

wheel and tire weight vs width

Keep your 17s on IMO. Adding 1lb of weight on your wheel/tire is like adding 7lbs to the bed of the truck. With 305/50s with 20s weigh anywhere from 78-90 depending what wheel you choose. Just weighed my buddies setup with 420s and BMFs and it came out to 81lbs a corner. If you decided to go...

    Clock Spring Help

26101828 Is the part number for the 03-05 that I know of, could be the part number for the 06-07 also but cannot confirm that. Anyways installed the new clock spring in my 05 and it worked.

LB7: About to tackle my injectors, any pointers?

A good set of socket bolt extractors will do wonders on the stripped hex bolts on the valve covers (if some retard stripped them the last time the truck was into) and they work awesome if the same retard over tightened the banjo bolts. It simply grabs the head of the stripped banjo bolt and boom...

LB7: About to tackle my injectors, any pointers?

I've had new banjo return line gaskets leak when bolts torqued to spec. So do a test before you button the damn thing up. Last thing you want is to look down and see very low oil pressure and have serveral quarts of fuel in the crank case leading to pulling the valve covers off again.

    Clock Spring Help

Anyone know if the part number 26102330 is the correct part number for the clock spring or Sir Coil as GM calls it for a 2005 LLY with buttons on the steering wheel. Thanks

    mile high 12 sec

I ran 12.2s and 12.3s all day in Albuquerque (mile high) the past two years with s475/stock and 40 overs on stock cp3. DA was terrible too. Drop weight and you'll be in the 12s easily.

High rpm for more hp and less torque?

If your still running the stock turbo leave the shift points alone.. You won't see much benefits from higher shift points and will cause higher egts and drive pressures.

    Tires for choice for 2015???

I'm running the toyo AT2 285/55r20 and love them. Well besides the price but I won't run anything else but toyo. They balance and wear so nicely.
