    This will be a long winter project(s) with hopes of completion for opening day next year. We'll be thrashing on both ends.... No updates yet as we are still going strong in the current season. We plan on hitting at least 3-4 more events with the Chevelle ending the season at SCSN-IX in a gas...

    Didn't see this posted but we have gone a 9.79@141 now. Hopefully we keep plugging away at the ET. trying a different shifting and lock up engagement this coming weekend at Ponci's race. Hopefully she'll like it. :-)

    hmmm don't know about 4 wh drive stuff, but yes the 400 and converter will bolt right up. no adapter needed, its the same gm bolt pattern since the beginning of time.

    I've ran a 400 in my combo for some time. If built with the right parts it will work well and pretty reasonably priced. You'd have to run a manual valve body and the gv is not necessary but would be a plus. I know for 12 bolt passenger cars Gm made a 2.56 gear, which is what I ran with the 400...

    yes that is the plan, as long as everything holds together. :-) we hope to make some more progress before the year is over. even after texas we still have a couple races left in Oct and Nov. We are very limited here at sac as far as traction goes and can only go so far with this track...

    Woooo Hoooo, everyone is getting it done!!! glad to see the list shaken up some, :-) Cant wait for Montana next weekend, hope we can get even faster..... guess we'll see. Yes this was with the lock up but we feel there is still more in it, more MPH and ET.

    not sure if this is allowed but would a stock LB7 in a car be allowed in on this action? My bone stock LB7 in my chevelle ran an 11.27 @ 118.
