I am replacing my motor with a used one that has a burnt wire harness everything worked from my old harness except on the side of the block on the drivers side my harness doesn't have one of the plug ins? Mines an 01 this motors from an 02 both non Cali emissions any problems with the missing plug that I'm going to run into?

It has 3 wires and is right above the plug in that goes into the side of the oil pan

You can still use the 03 harness, but you will need to run a single brown wire from an 01-02 sensor to the brown wire on the bale connector. In short, yes the motor will run without it.

Correct, your gauge cluster will read the wrong oil psi until you wire in the sending unit. Your DIC will also say you have a low oil level, but the engine will function correctly.
