tryin to decide what rear end to use in my s10 that will take the abuse behind a duramax does anyone have any experience with ford 9in or a gm 12 bolt or dana 60 anything what will hold up

I've heard the ford 8.8s are a good rear end also

You could also look into the 14 bolt 9.5" from a TBSS

It's gunna need some love as a stocker won't hold but they are cheap and there is a ton of parts avaible for them

the s10 has a back half and 4link i would get one from moser,strange,..ect ect or get a housing and buy the parts for it just want to make sure its not going to break the first time out

It's gonna cost you to get a FORD 9 in to handle the torque, but yes they can be built to do it.

If you get a Full Floater axle from Moser or Strange you will be golden. A Ford 9" has an incredibly strong R & P the pinion is supported on both sides meaning less deflection under hard acceleration.
