i pushed up on the shield and right above the exhaust is a stud for the shield and it appears to be mounted to a floor brace. i pushed up on the shield till it stopped and measured 4"- darkness

when i put my stack in i looked and looked at that crossmember. i want to cut it out and just make a new one. make it straight and mount the carrier bearing on top of it. mines 2wd though. but i took a measurement and it was 4" from the top of the crossmember to the bottom of the floor(there...- darkness

Twins: why do people move the battery and coolant tank?
i didnt touch my drain plug. a couple of carefully and strategically placed clamps on the 2 hoses coming from the radiator kept my mess to a small puddle- darkness

i dont think you could do that with an lb7. the intake is further back and you would have to contort the cac pipe to get it around everything. plus i only lost about a gallon of coolant and thats because the kit came with a new tank. and why does the filter have to be as close to the cp3 as...- darkness

When/what do I need?
my question is youre only seeing 1200* egt's with Nicks max effort tune? thats like a 3050 pw tune. i know i have an lb7 but his 500rwhp tune which is a 2900 pw tune i could peg my 1600* gauge in 3rd gear. do the lbz's run that much cooler? fwiw with the twins and Nicks 500rwhp tune i see...- darkness

it has to be trimmed in a couple spots. mainly for the downpipe. but mine was all cut up from before to gain access to the fuel filter and in the process of fitting it it came out in 2 pieces lol. but i did get it back on though.- darkness
