lift pump

Not needed they say but on my street tune I suck my lift pump down to almost 0 psi. Better watch out who was it the installed the lift pump and then blew there motor it might be your breaking point.:spit:
No, i've had a liftpump all along, it just recently quit working and i'm just pulling thru it at the present time, I was just wondering if it was really necessary with duel cp3's. I just havent had time to bring the truck to cousin Larry for a look 
yes Larry you will need a lift pump... on my single WD pump with the lift pump off i did some WOT runs, i had lost a bunch of rail psi and there was no smoke coming out the exhaust. After talking to Shane at WD you need a lot of pressure

I always figured you needed one still. If anything you would need one more as you need supply of fuel quicker than with one. If you are running withut one I would assume you are working the pumps like PPE advertises (50% load to each pump so to speak).
Tommy had no lift pump for ever with dual fuelers, but kept rail pressure. Added on and I think gained more power and lost a piston at same time.

I've got a fass 150 on there right now, it just quit working, checked the ground and its ok, but haven't gone any farther yet. Truck runs fine without the pump so far. I assume that if anything is wrong with the pump it would be warrantied
but wont get to mess with it for a few weeks, leaving for Vegas monday and got lots of work to finish up before I leave.

Friend had though the ground was ok on his it cooked the wire to the inside of the pump. He pulled it apart and fixed it was making one nasty sound.

its worked for a good while since the bull was last in the china cabinet :rofl: hope its not the switch, but guess it could be
I probably didn't help it any last time we had that apart trying to fix the lighter socket, thats when the other side broke. :hug:
well, I gotta fix granny's sprinkler system today, hollar if you want to come by and take a look at the pump :hug:
