    Part should all be here today. Cleaned up the diff housing and axle tubes last night. It was nasty. Behind the carrier bearing preload adjusters was some nasty sludge that was piled up. Had to get a spoon and scrape it out. Soaked everything in WD40 to loosen it all up then sprayed it all out...

    Any specific reason you want to stay with garrett BB? An s400 is simple and will support what you want no problem.

    96mm turbine and 1.32ar housing is what you want. Gt42 and gt45 are more of a single turbo charger.

    Alright, everything is ordered. Now I just need to clean up the diff housing. Is my old carrier/ring gear worth anything? Ring gear is in perfect condition, bearings are good too.

    I won't even consider another g80. Screw that. And as far as bolts backing out on the ring gear, I'd say that was installer error. I never hear about the dodge tracrite having many issues either.

    I was very happy with my track times. I clicked off a 10.72@135. And yes the Tracrite is just like the true trac but doesn't have an as aggressive bias. I'm finding mixed specs on the true trac, some say it has a 3:1 bias and some say 5:1. The dodge unit is 2:1.

    Definitely not cheaping out. I don't want to do this again. Just ordered a genuine AAM ring and pinion set. Going to order a timken bearing set and install kit. Still undecided on which locker setup, but more than likely going with the tracrite out of a Dodge AAM.
