You will likely need to pull a bit of fuel pressure and timing too but it depends on how it runs and egt’s. You want it to haze not smoke. Pull some off the top and see how it takes it. Smooth the rest out to match. But I wouldn’t go crazy until you sort out your maf issue.
Did you strap the front end down when you do this?
I ran a class with similar rules to the op and there were guys saying I couldn’t strap the front end and pass tech so I didn’t try the square tube. I didn’t want it bouncing out or something.
It’s 36F where I am this morning. Wheel up here and you will work fast getting them on cuz you have to to stay warm lol!!

That’s a beauty.
I know where there’s an unmolested low km z in Medicine Hat but I can’t get the old guy to give it up. My buddy in Red Deer also has one in about the same shape but he won’t give it up either lol.
Its louder on the one side for sure but I highly doubt it’s a wrist pin.
If you rev it up slightly does the sound get louder and speed up or go away or does anything change?
Do you hear a thumping in the exhaust if you put a stethoscope or long screwdriver against each exhaust port in the...
Naw. He might replace the rusted out rockers this winter and do some steering and front suspension repairs but other that he just hauls hay and cows around so it’s really just a work truck.
He massaged the lly firewall to fit in place of the stock ‘72 one. Full hvac and all. The cab is wider on the new trucks so it was a lot of hours to make it fit. Have to open the door to open/close the windows but small price to pay for a/c!!
Floor pan is still ‘72.
Well got the tune in but the CTS2 needs to be updated before we can switch tunes so I put the single tune back in. I’ll post that tune in here when I get my laptop charged up.
I know the number change is normal but IIRC on the LBZ it only changed the first digit to a 2 or 5 and the rest was the same. It wasn’t a full on random number change.
I tried alt keys. I’ll keep dickin here.
Anybody know why when I upgrade my stock file to a dsp5 my OS changes completely?
Stock is a 15228758
Upgrade to DSP5 and it changes it to 05875805
Won’t let me flash this. Says controller is locked but I can flash the 15228758 no problem.
I put a solenoid valve on my ‘16. I still had a transfer pump but it was nice to be able to shut the tank right in as the pump would leak past and after a couple days of being parked it would fill the truck and then I’d get a leak if it got hot.
