    Can't put a price on safety. With what I require of mine there's no way I'd run anything else, I actually paid a considerable amount more with the exchange rate. My built truck still sees car seat duty and tows my fifth wheel, for me it's a no brainer.

    Depending on where your located, I would just delete it. sounds like it's leaking where the valve meets the cold side charge pipe? if that's the case the egr blocker plate is not going to resolve your issue. Have you pressure tested it like we suggested?

    Would it really be worth it to buy the stock spec crank? Haven't the stock style billet cranks broke as well? If going billet anyway I would want the piece of mind of the narrow journal crank.

    ^^^ this, fuel quality plays a huge part in it. We see it a couple times a year with the trucks I have on the road, even with an anti gel additive. Fuel quality up here is very hit and miss, also doesn't help that it's colder than absolute f$&k up here in the north.

    That's why I built a diesel, any swinging d$ck can make a 10 sec ls track queen:D but have had a couple hiccups in my tear down that resulted in me not getting the motor to SoCal as soon as I'd hoped. Hoping not to miss the complete race season, how long of a turn around time was it for you guys...

    I already had the 2000's so I reused those for this build hoping that they'll be ok with the o ring deck. Ya I really have no intentions of breaking things either but I really would love to hit that magic 10.99 and I can imagine that it will come with some broken pieces.

    They doing a build identical to yours except I went with a 3388 af cam ported heads and o ringed the block. Haven't really decided where I'm gonna start yet, probably just a 50 shot and go up from there until it either hits 10's or breaks :D
