I feel the opposite, I think the GMC front end is way too busy . The grille looks like it would be a PITA to clean up . To me the High Country grille and front end looks a lot smoother . I’m currently in a 2018 since Dec 2017 , I Love it and plan on trading it in on a 2020 in Dec . I will be...

    Slapped around by a powerstroke

I was out making a test run one day , so happens my wife wanted to go for a ride since it had been a while since she had been in my truck and sees it as the mistress at times and wonders what the attraction is all about . We’re out tooling around and low and behold here comes this youngster next...

5 lug conversion and 15" wheels

Will the thin sidewalls be an issue on the bias ply with the weight of the truck . I’ve heard if the vehicle is too heavy and your running a 2 ply wrinkle wall it can turn into an issue with wadding the tire too much and running over the wad . Just food for thought. The ones I run are stiffer...

5 lug conversion and 15" wheels

I was running 325/45/18 DR2s versus now I’m running 16” wheels and tires and my tires are 31.75” OD versus the 30.25 OD on the DR2s so I’m in agreement with you not really 100% apples to apples . Sounds like he is already 60’ing very well with the DRs though . Mine did well with them too just...

Those are some bad ass wheels by the way !

5 lug conversion and 15" wheels

I’ve run both and have had better luck with the bias ply , with them I’m able to run the truck full tilt fuel plus NOS so far versus the Hossier DR2s wouldn’t hold full tilt fuel only , kept airing them down and they still spun and moved in my rims as well . With a 15” wheel and 30” tall tire...

    Question: Best 60’ on a street/strip truck

With good rear traction devices I’ve had luck with tieing the front end down . If the front end comes up it has the potential to unload the front tires plus it’s wasted energy that could be propelling the vehicle forward . I run double adjustable Vikings up front and single adjustable QA 1s in...
