    If you are going to move to North Idaho you should get the nomenclature correct. It is spelled Coeur d' Alene and it is in North Idaho not Northern Idaho. Locals will correct you on that immediately. Your welcome.:thumb:

    I note there is a truck in west Texas owned by All IN Truck Performance that claims to have the fastest trap speed in 1/4 mile with an Allison at 159 mph in 9.6 sec. I don't see any entry form that shop. Maybe they don't use the forum or have any interest in the list?:confused:

    A lot has changed on this list since I first started it. My old truck, "White Out" Made it as high as 15th back in late August of 2010. It's now 86th. New Owner still races it once in awhile. Still street legal and will still run in the high 10's. Same motor we put in it in 2009.:D

    Running 1/8 is definitely cheaper and easier on parts, and there isn't much opportunity to, "run down" someone if you are sleeping at the light. Problem is most street driven trucks are dogs in the 1/8 and really don't start rolling till after 660 feet.

    Go to Youtube and check out dodge diesel truck crash at Breakaway. It was in 2008. It wasn't going that fast and it was only an 1/8 mile track. Mass and speed really bad combo. We are damn lucky that there has never been a catastrophic accident at a NHRDA event. I use to poopoo 1/8 racing...

    Paul Breedlove has been racing his diesel against NHRA Pro class gas competitors for years and has won Wally's. Payouts are usually better and very few oil downs. But if a bunch of diesels started racing in the regular NHRA events who knows.:confused:

    If this is true it doesn't surprise me at all. Truck counts have been way down as well as spectators. It's so damn expensive to travel anymore and the events are so far apart. Don't blame Randy at all for folding the tent. It lasted about 3 more years than I thought it would.

    Yes if you run tubes you need screws. Much safer and also they, (slicks) will feel more stable at lower air pressures.

    Boy you are right about Cole, had to be stroked constantly. Pretty much burned his bridges with all his old friends, me and Rob included. Think he and Buck are still pretty good friends but I don't know that for sure. Buck sold his truck as well.
