There has been an open season for wolves for a long time. They are getting smart now and it's a fun but challenging hunt.

Please don't tell anymore people about Idaho.

Welcome, but close the door behind you after you come in.

Rob,

I will gladly shut that door. I look forward to meeting you finally and seeing the shop.

If you are going to move to North Idaho you should get the nomenclature correct. It is spelled Coeur d' Alene and it is in North Idaho not Northern Idaho. Locals will correct you on that immediately. Your welcome.:thumb:

I too moved to Idaho ~7 years ago because it is such a great place, with so many freedoms. On the one hand, I want people to be able to enjoy our freedoms, but on the other hand, many of the people moving here don't understand/appreciate/tolerate our freedoms, and start to erode them.

I think if people come in with the right attitude, it will be OK. We have a lot of neat freedoms, many of which seem dangerous. But that is what makes this state great. We are all free to be stupid!

- Seatbelts not needed for trucks with GVWR > 8000lb
- Helmets are not required for adults
- We can own machine guns
- All weapons made in Idaho are legal in Idaho (same half-ass loophole that other states use to legalize pot / ignore the federal law banning it)

I could go on, but the point is, these freedoms sometimes make people uncomfortable, but even with (and I argue because of) all our freedoms, Idaho is one of the safest and nicest states in the Union. I just wish everyone who came here realized that taking away our freedoms just makes Idaho into wherever they came from, which they didn't even like!

Anyway, rant over. That's not directed at you, it sounds like you're here to enjoy it like the rest of us! And we always need more sane people to out-vote the Californians coming in

I’m glad we were presented the opportunity to get there, period.

I enjoy the outdoors and everything it has to offer and want the little one to experience and enjoy the simple things.

I also understand your point as Texas has that same issue as well with certain people coming in trying to change Texas ways. I don’t think it will ever happen but things are messed up with extreme liberals taking over everywhere.

I don’t want to get into a political rant, but I enjoy my freedoms and guns.

Tom, it’s been 12 or so years since Merchants. Haha

1)We don’t have a date set yet but most likely early fall of this year.

2)She has a 3 year old that is amazing and I enjoy every moment with her.

3) I do miss Michigan at times. Haha Yes, another move with CAT. I have 12 dealers to cover so all of the western US and Canada. I will have to travel a bit but hopefully once I get to dealers set it will be minimal.

Yep, Albert has already been warned. Lol

We really like it ,and i am the type of person to enjoy the freedoms of Idaho That's exactly why we're going there, it Has not been corrupted yet like the rest of the country.. I've heard there are skinheads and mormons in the North part not sure if that's true or not , Gods beautiful country can't wait to get there , also absolutely love how it's not a liberal state

Yes there is def Mormons there but they are great people and for the most part all have guns. I ended up in SLC UT, and i love it with all the great outdoor activities that are available to us. Once you are a resident you will basically be able to hunt for abut 8 months out of the year if you draw your cards right and if you add water fowl you can get even more ( assuming it is as good as UT) , either way welcome to the mid mountain country and it is AWESOME FUN HUNTING OPPORTUNITIES !!!!!!
