Injectors are the main issue with that motor. if the trucks clean, drives good. I wouldn't hesitate any. I own 2 for my business. but that price seems a touch high. least for around here. Guess it depends on how clean it runs.
I love my lml. Doesn't tow like my lbz does with twins, but overall, it's very nice. tows great, rides awesome. I have a lift, Fox shocks, rear air bags so it maybe a touch different then a stock truck. but I highly doubt it's much different
he was out when I ordered for him as well. Won't take long for him to get you set up. I loved mine. fit was awesome. extremely heavy duty compared to stock. I would hold out for his. my new truck is also getting one of his really soon.
I also own a landscaping company and have to use the hitch...
I'd seriously buy the bigchevyhitch style. tons stronger then a stock unit. the hitches that come on these trucks stock are way to light duty. even for daily road use pulling.
congrats on your first pull.
what would a set of 20x10 or 20x12 in death metal cost?
I have a 2015. looking for another set to run for winter.
you could even price a set of 22x12s also. it's the size I'm running now.
thanks again josh.
have you tried the leaf spring wear pads that separate each leaf? my 07 had an odd clunk at low speeds. I played with the spacing, bought new pads, and clunk was gone when new pads were in place.
running a 7in bds on my 2015.5 set as low as it can go. probably around 5-5.5in on 35x12.50x22. angles are flat, almost negative. and rides great. also has fox shocks and rear air bags. which my change the ride alittle.
