I was planning on checking everything when I had it torn down, and see if I can have Fingers match the weights somewhat close (not sure if he can do that or not)
Who is unbelievable? me? If I had someone ship something for me that was damaged I would go ask the person who shipped it what happened. If you are saying otherwise you are retarded to not check where things went wrong.
To the shipper, dude it sucks that he shipped it that way but you are the...
I'm thinking about going with a new set of pistons over my stock cut LB7s, but I don't want to machine or ballance everything again. The block looked good 20K ago, and I have no reason to think that it would need any machining. Am I missing something to just have fingers match the weights of my...
What is the best way to ship heavy parts? I have some ford 6.4 heads that need work but don't trust any shops around here (and my little mill can't handle them). But I don't want to pay $175 each way (fedex/ups) they will be close to 100 lbs each packaged up.

I'm afraid of forged, I put 20K miles on the truck a year and do starts at -20*F temps
It was a frind of mine that was tig welding, and it just went clear on him. Don't know how old the helmet was but I know he won't use them anymore! I'm not that great of a welder, but I found that the miller seems to let me see what I'm doing much better under the arc and I got better by just...
I have 60 overs and can't wait to go bigger (I am about 850 HP now), for 900 I would go 80 but that is just me. You can do it with anywhere from 60 to 100 overs.
DOD is taking the brunt of it, so no cuts for social programs (that I'm aware of) just big cuts to the DOD. A lot of the units are taking really big cuts to a point where then might not be combat ready in any way. Not saying that the DOD does not have a lot of pork, but its going to hurt
