    Its GMs little tricks you can use when you dont have the right tools. Sort of like cycling the key 3 times to reset limp mode and pressing the accelerator 3 times to reset oil life and a whole host of others i cant remember.

    sounds exactly like my problem. no MIL and no communication but when i flip the valet switch everything comes to life. I did notice my security light was on maybe ill try henrys technique. Im still betting mine is a bad ground, yours may be as well.

    yours must be special i put in 28 when mine is bone dry. and thats without rocking the bed. I think they rate them low. Our MX240 tractor is rated at 160 gallons. We had the tanks completely dry to replace the sending unit and i filled it with 200 gallons. Sometimes i think they just guess.

    There is a difference its the hub bore size. its not much only a few hundreths of an inch but its enough to make a difference Why i dont know but there is. Hes not dumb. now i cant remember which ones i got for our 02. but i just took one of the stock ones in and they matched it up.
