so my truck is back together. i put my batteries in. its been 6 or 7 weeks since motor blew. i haven't charged them since. so i throw them in, and it cranks really slow, and almost starts. so i try a few more times. batteries dead. so, i pull the driver and replace it with a new battery (i don't have a charger, just a trickle one) fuel pump sounds nice and strong, cab lights work, check the CCA (900) but when i turn key, nothing. no starter engagement, but it worked earlier.
anyways, i realized my MIL light wasn't on when i turned the key to on. so i hooked up EFI to flash a different tune on there. cant establish a connection with ecm or tcm.
now, i should have a check engine light on cuz i only have my downpipe on and still have a 100% stock tune on. MIL light doesn't come on at all even when i first put the key in the ignition
WTF??? what could it be? did i fry the ecm? make it lock itself? only thing i can think of is i touched the positive cable on metal for a split second when i was pulling the battery and it sparked. i checked all the fuses i could think of related to ecm and vehicle starting
please help!!!! sorry for the long post
