    Though I'm sure its better to reseal them I'm a full time diesel tech and have done tons of them and have NEVER had a comeback and i only reseal the ones that come out....

    I bought a cloth one and bought leather from theseatshop.com and recovered it myself along with a new driver seat bottom cover and foam.

    Put some standard oil in it and go beat on it for a while and see if that doesn't help....

    Ohming is only checking the solenoids, nothing to do with the fuel side. You need to crimp off the fuel line under the AC compressor and put a vacuum pump on the return line at the back of the engine where the fuel lines clip on and check for return leaks under the valve covers. I almost...

    Probably bad injectors returning too much fuel when they get hot.

    Put a boost gauge pre and post intercooler, i read about a guy having the same issue, turned out his intercooler got a rag or something in it and was restricted. A cummins laid down 993 fuel only on that exact turbo today at a local dyno day so its definitely not a turbo issue.

    That turbo is capable of 1000hp on fuel. I'd be looking into a mechanical issue. What size injectors and does it hold rail?

    They do all get louder. I was referring to the knock, in my experience the bad ones will be far louder than the rest if you put a stethoscope on the high pressure fuel line.

    Run rail pressure up and down with a scanner. If it quiets the motor with it lowered and makes it louder with it raised its bad injectors.
