So went to a dyno day today and the truck came in lower than I had hoped. For the life of me I can't seem to make any more power no matter how much more fuel I add, adjustments I make, etc.

Truck has s476, plenty of fuel, but it seems to be lacking air. I was really hoping this new s476 SXE would liven things up a bit but it seems that I am in the same boat as last season.

Dynoed 699hp which this charger should be easily capable of 800+ fuel only. Have a 1.0 housing and 87mm turbine with a standard cover.

I'm half tempted to hook a bottle to it and let it rip but I first want to get a good fuel only number. Am I missing anything?? I have some logs that I can post up tonight as well as videos.

I always ran negative timing in the spool rpms with my 80 and 83mm.
Not that it matters in lockup but what converter do you have Caden?

It's a 1056, nowhere near ideal for me but it does get the job done. I'm not to concerned about spool up since it is quick, especially if I downshift to higher rpm's. It's just the lack of horsepower that has me frustrated. Even track times don't come close to 11's.

Im running the same turbo except tighter housing. Once I switched from a 1058 to a 1053 it came alive. Ive ran low 11s. Would be in 10s if it didnt go into 6th. Have you sent logs to your tuner?

Sounds like tuning is your issue... if you aren't "running close to 11's" then it's in your tuning unless you cut disgusting 60's

Haven't been to the track this season yet, but I know last season with a smaller injectors It came to a point that if I was floored and changed the tune nothing would change boost wise.

at 6800lbs and 700hp with a 1.73 60' I went 11.84 @ 115 so you SHOULD hit that or better without anymore power

Wow. 21-29k rail bounce is crazy. Playing with fire letting it surge that much. Crank breaking formula there. What kind of pulse with your 200%?

200% and it holds rail just fine. I do need to slow down the FCA's to keep it from bouncing. Bounces from 21-29k when desired is 26k.
Put a boost gauge pre and post intercooler, i read about a guy having the same issue, turned out his intercooler got a rag or something in it and was restricted. A cummins laid down 993 fuel only on that exact turbo today at a local dyno day so its definitely not a turbo issue.

That is a big bounce. the truck will make a lot more power holding 29k.

laid down 790 (same on 2 different dyno's) with a single 10mm pump, billet 471/87/.90 and 100 overs at 2350Us, new setup is much stronger and doesn't quite clear up the smoke, twin pumps and 400 overs and she is steady rail at 24K and 1100Us, but man she rips lol.
