Question: Electric over hydraulic power steering

all we did was when we got the lines and pump hooked in and filled up with fluid and bled. i backed the regulator all the way off and turned the pump on and had my brother try and turn the wheel back and forth. i kept turning the regulator in (up in psi) until he said the wheel was about as easy...

Question: Electric over hydraulic power steering

i ran a haldex 12v pump into my hydroboost for a few years and it worked great. if you need more brake holding pressure to build boost just turn up the pressure on the pump :thumb:

    Off Season Sled Pulling Mods

Quadracer37 has been supporting my pulling truck before it was a pulling truck. But yes knock on wood I'm running my original crank that has 150k, externally balanced, stock firing order , and the bearings didn't even have the coating wore off after 50 passes. And I'd like to think its close to...

    Where do yall make power

i thought he wanted to know how to move his power curve up on a sled truck? i dont really believe what some puts in a magazine about twin turbos and nox relates to his question. as long as he has a decent cam in his motor the easiest way to move up his power curve and make more hp is a bigger...

    Where do yall make power

thats interesting. i've never ran a smooth bore charger b4. i would bet alot of classes start restricting the turbo stuff more as things progressively get outa hand.

    Where do yall make power

yeah that should move your power band up in the rpm if you can spin it. what are your turbo rules now?

    Where do yall make power

i would think if you're peaking out at 2700rpm you could handle a larger turbine side and open it up would gain some hp. i'm guessing if your running a s400 frame you're running an 83 or 87 ? if you're peaking out at 2700 i would lean towards 83 or smaller?

LB7: What To Do With The Cheap Hooker

after having an allison for 4 years and going to a clutch set up in my open drive line. i'd never have an auto for pulling again. just my opinion but i think a manual trans and a clutch offers several advantages. i had too many converter, gear shifting problems, turbo lighting problems, etc with...

LB7: What To Do With The Cheap Hooker

    1. Tires, 35x12.50's if you can run them, duals if you can 2. Gearing, 4.88s (with above 35's) 3. before sinking a lot of $ in your allison, i'd look into a zf6. (manual trans is alot better for pulling) 4. i wouldn't touch the motor til you need to

Let's Talk About Electric Water Pumps

on a filled block motor running 4500-5000rpm down the track. how many GPM are we supposed to have running through each head? i've been running an electric water pump since 2009 on the puller and (knock on wood) have had zero issues. but we are making more hp every year so we're open to...
