    Valve adjustment moving air question.

    I pulled the glow plugs from the drivers side and it was making the same noise. It was silent as a ghost with the plugs in but hard to turn over. Once I'm finished with the valve adjustment I'll reinstall all 8 glow plugs and make sure all is quiet. Thanks Power!

    It seems to only be air escaping the glow plug holes. I guess I couldn't hear it due to my huge fan I was running last time. :rofl:

    The valves aren't adjusted what so ever. I was just rotating to find the degree mark on the balancer.

    I've installed the 2nd head on my pass side that I received yesterday. As I go to roll the engine over, I can hear air escaping as the valves open. This isn't a sound I had on the previous adjustment. Any ideas what it is? I'll see if I can post a video.

    Without going into details until the matter is resolved, I've submitted some pictures of the deck surface on the #5 cylinder of a reman cylinder head that I received from a vendor here with one simple question.     Anyone know or can confirm the sizes of the freeze plugs in the back side of the heads for our trucks? I believe they are 28mm and 20mm. The head I have coming from DHD needs a small one. I'll have to swap the sides on the plugs to make the head usable for the pass side. Thanks All!

    I'm just honestly upset that my truck has stayed down an extra 5 days now because of some lousy freeze plugs.. They can't just call napa and put a set of Clevite's in it or something? And they waited as for me to call them just to say they had called me to tell me but had the wrong number...

    Yea, but they were the only trustworthy vendor I found with a set in stock.. Name of the game I guess.
