    i cleared the code and after tring to get it to come back it wont... wondering if it was just a hiccup... told the dealer to not order yet (saving $275) gonna run a guage setup to see what i can come up with.

    Update......I just threw a P0045 CEL... going to the dealer in the am to see about a vane position sensor selonoid.

    from a dead stop floored acceleration i do getr a little trail of black smoke... thought it was normal on a diesel... i do plan on ordering guages in the next couple days... but i will also try to find a leak... gonna try to make my own pressure tester to leak test it with the motor off.

    EFI live would be great... just want truck 100% before any tune... ill have to get in touch to find out how much for a dual tune on a switch

    does anyone have a way to check the blowoff valve/waste gate? Not sure which one the truck has:)

    ouch, thats such a dirty word! i think i will try to get a boost guage and go from there, maybe get something to pressure test my system. Does anyone know if a bullydog Watchdog will display my boost PSI?? i called them and they said they cant garuntee it does... only if my factory ECM...

    Ok, i installed my new mouthpiece and can feel a little more in the seat of the pants dyno... faster to build more kick... but still seems a little sluggish. i do not have a blocked EGR and have seen horror stories of the sotty buildup.. will probally tear into the intake to make sure that isnt...

    was also wondering if anyone has any slick tricks to check for boost leaks. i hear my turbo spool up but it seems to just make noise... doesnt feel like it is making a big difference from when im gently accelerating or too the floor

    Will try to find a way to check boost.. no guage. I did knotice my intercooler hoses seemeb bulged with truck off and REALLY soft.....as far as burnouts...that is not my priority...just seeing what mynew toy can do.

    80k miles.... need to replace filter because I was only told it was changer 5k ago and don't take anyones word for it. Trans fluid seems good...will flush it to be safe before winter hits. Rerouted Pcv today...noticed a good amount of oil that needs to burn off... zero lights or codes. :)

    Im looking for a little help with my 04 LLY. it is 100% stock..and im not sure if im having a power loss issue. Unless it is rainy it WILL NOT spin the tires! Not even if i brake stand it! i have 285/65's on stock wheels which does give me better traction, and i do plan on modding the truck...

    Is the best way to get it out of the block pulling the lower hose or can someone show me where the block drains are?
